Live Metal-Core shows are illegal in Kuwait. But where there is youth there is rebellion, and where there is a will there is always a way. This is the combination of motivation and fortitude that drive the members of Black 13 Angelz to constantly challenge the law of their homeland in order to embrace their desired expression of youth.
A sympathetic venue owner offered a secret basement to the band but with one stipulation: everyone must remain seated through the duration of the show. The lead singer constantly had to remind the audiences to stay in their seats because the band did not want to end up in jail again. The show had about 75 young adults and teenagers in attendance, and the majority of them stayed seated throughout the entire three and a half hour performance.
